Defining Moments
We also had a guest on the show share her testimony about how God has worked through her life. She started off her testimony by saying she was a forgiven, redeemed, child of God. I love that. That's how we all should identity ourselves. We don't need to identify ourselves by our sins, but by our redeemer. We don't have to justify our choices to compromise and remain in the sin..especially since we never know who we are effecting.
We also talked about when you say you are a Christian, people will begin to see if you live differently because they are searching for something different. And how can we reach and influence the world for Christ if we are living just like them? Jesus lived WITH sinners, but he didn't live LIKE them. It's on us to step up with boldness and stand up for what's right.
All in all, it was an interesting conversation and I enjoyed hearing Allison's testimony. God has great things for her. And God has great things for YOU! Never look at your mess or look at your past and question whether God can use you or not. When you ask for forgiveness, you are forgiven. Personally, I think the best ministries are led by those that have been through some things and can show others the way to get through as well. I hope you enjoy Episode #9 as much as we did! Thanks for reading!
